For me, it was the most interesting part of my Biology lessons. You must still learn about Mendel and his experiments with peas? This was the part of Biology that interested me the most. That, and my mum (who was a midwife) coming home and telling me stories about the babies that she delivered, and who they looked like, and the sometimes unfortunate circumstances, when they were born with some kind of disorder. That’s what got me interested in genetics.
