      The best thing I have found out is how mouse stem cells can turn into tiny beating hearts a few days after being treated with a particular chemical! That’s pretty cool.

      I looked at all the genes for the bacteria I worked on and using statistical models (called phylogenetics) worked out their relatedness and figured out that they had come from Canada to the UK!

      Before that I analysed the gene cluster for a totally new antibiotic 🙂
