• Question: if your favourite subject at school was history why didnt you do things with history?

      Interesting question, History was definitely my favourite subject for a long time, it was easily the subject I was best at, and I got my best A-level in it. But when it came to doing a job, or going to uni, I just didn’t want to be reading books and writing essays for the rest of my life. I wanted to be doing stuff and I really liked being in the lab. When I thought of degrees, all I wanted to be was a Vet, I liked animals and it was meant to be really hard, who doesn’t love a challenge. But it turned out, I really wasn’t up for gooey science and ended up in research instead.
