      Yes I think I am, at least I hope I am! It’s not that long ago that I remember being at school and being completely daunted by real scientists. The world of a scientist was a complete mystery to me and I never thought I had the ability to make it to that level with my career. None of my family had done A-levels let alone gone to university so I didn’t expect to either. However, through hard work and determination as well as a fascination of biology I’ve made it and I’d like to help others do the same.

      I think I would be a good role model for someone who wanted to do a PhD but didn’t want to go through the formal route. However, I believe one should just try to achieve their own maximum potential without looking up to any specific person.

      Well I think science is cool and if I can get other people excited about that then that’s brilliant! I should be an example I suppose that anyone can do science 😀
