Yes we can look like our siblings. You would share 50% of the genes with your mum and dad, and also approximately 50% with your siblings. But by chance, you might have inherited more of the same “looks” genes as your siblings.
An example would be that some families might decide to have a second child to save the first child that needs bone marrow transplant – this is because you could potentially have a sibling that has more compatible immune genes with you than your parents.
