• Question: if you think about how crocodiles survived the meteor hitting earth and wiping out the dinosaurs then do you think it was possible for other marine creatures to survive?

      I’m afraid I’m not familiar with the events that lead to the extinction of dinosaurs, but from what I can gather, approximately 80-90% of fish families (sharks, rays, skates, and “bony fish”) survived it!

      Yeah certainly, sharks are around from that time, they’re really really old! When you look at sharks or crocodiles, you’re looking at least 65 million years into the past when reptiles ran the planet!
