• Question: if the universe is mostly dark matter then do you think we could have evolved from it to create life?

      It’s not known exactly what dark matter is or the impact it has on the visible universe, the existence of dark matter is something of a mystery in astrophysics and is only inferred by its gravitation impact on the visible matter nearby!

      Life began on this planet 3.5billion years ago, very likely starting with molecules bumping around and ‘competing’ for resources to self replicate, becoming life.

      Therefore all the processes involved in this would have been very much observable by science and not involving dark matter. The impact dark matter does or does not have on the universe is a much bigger question!
