I’ve been working since 2007, after I graduated from my Master’s degree. So I guess that means 7-8 years (got my PhD through work I did as a technician).

I started my PhD almost 3 years ago after finishing my masters degree although I’ve been studying science optionally for over 10 years now. I suppose we don’t really get called scientists until we work full time in a lab like during a PhD so I’d say 3 years for me.

I finished my undergraduate degree in 2012, did a masters and then started my PhD a year and a half ago! So I suppose just a year and a half properly but have been in higher science education since 2009 🙂
