Making an animal glow in the dark requires a lot of genetic engineering that would not be approved as would cost millions of pounds and would provide very little benefit. I suggest a glow in the dark colour.

@lucysmithy, maybe best off buying a vis jacket or maybe try “glow in the dark hair dye”. Not sure how well they work with dogs though.
I was about to say that Barbara! There was a woman in the news who died her cat pink but it licked its fur and died. It might be a bit distressed about being a funny colour in front of its mates too.
Yeah @Barbara there are a few commercially available glow in the dark animals! Including fish which would be fun.
As for the original question, it really needs to be done before they’re born not once unfortunately!

Actually, just checked. The dog would glow, but they might lick their fur and get sick from the dye.
